Charge Ahead: MVEA Installs Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations!

We’re excited to share some electrifying news with our members! Mountain View Electric Association (MVEA) is proud to announce that our brand-new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are now live and ready for use. As we embrace the future of transportation, we’re committed to making it easier for our members to go electric. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Tri-State and the Colorado Energy Office for their generous funding support.

Location and Accessibility
Our EV chargers are located at the Falcon Office, situated at 11140 E. Woodmen Rd., Peyton, CO 80831. Whether you’re a member, an employee, or just passing through, our chargers are open to the public, providing a hassle-free way to power up your vehicle.
You’ll find three Level 2 chargers conveniently positioned in the front parking lot. The chargers are listed on both the Alternative Fuel Station Locator (AFS) and PlugShare, a comprehensive EV charging station map and trip planner app.

Affordable Charging Rates
At MVEA, we understand that cost matters. That’s why we’re pleased to offer charging at an affordable rate of $0.29 per kWh.
