Statement of Position

“The highest priority is to have reliable and affordable energy. It is important for MVEA to keep pace with the rapidly changing energy market and reap the benefits of cheaper, cleaner, more rate stable renewable energy, while promoting energy efficiency and demand-side management. With the rising costs from our wholesale power provider, I am a proponent of multiple rate options to provide members a choice in the best fit for their situation, while reducing association costs. I will always advocate for improved tools for members to analyze their electric use and find ways to save.”
