Each Saturday, we’ll feature a unique, inspiring small business within our service territory. This week, we’re proud to spotlight B/K Ranch, a fifth-generation, family-owned operation in Calhan, Colorado, founded in 1891.

In the spirit of Small Business Saturday, each Saturday this month, we’ll be spotlighting a local small business that embodies the values we share as an electric cooperative, particularly the principle of “Concern for Community.”

MVEA is proud to announce that our brand-new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are now live and ready for use.

As the sun sets over Falcon, Colorado, and the stadium lights come to life, a special kind of magic unfolds on the football field at Falcon High School. At Mountain View Electric Association (MVEA), we’re proud to be a key part of this cherished tradition, where Friday night lights represent much more than just football. They symbolize a celebration of community, dedication, and tradition.

In 2019, an initiative called “Light Up Navajo” was launched, by the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority in partnership with the American Public Power Association. This initiative aims to bring electricity to families who have lived without it for generations.

As we raise our glasses on August 2nd for International Beer Day, we're excited to spotlight a local gem in our service territory: Black Forest Brewery.
