Mulch Madness Event

Event Date

Saturday, April 5, 2025

Location

95 Ute Ave., Kiowa, CO 80117

As wildfire season approaches, Mountain View Electric Association (MVEA) is committed to helping our members reduce fire risks. We’re partnering with Elbert County to host Mulch Madness—a free community event where members can drop off tree limbs, branches, and brush to be mulched onsite.

Proper vegetation management is a key part of wildfire mitigation, and by clearing excess debris from your property, you’re helping to protect your home and our community. Plus, you’re welcome to take home mulch for your own use! Join us in this effort to create a safer, more fire-resilient community.
