MVEA and Elbert County Partner for Mulch Madness: A Free Wildfire Mitigation Event
As wildfire season approaches, Mountain View Electric Association (MVEA) is committed to helping members reduce fire risks. In partnership with Elbert County, MVEA is hosting Mulch Madness—a free community event where members can drop off tree limbs, branches, and brush to be mulched onsite.

At Mountain View Electric Association, our dedicated team of lineworkers build and maintain more than 6,400 miles of energized line in a 5,000 square mile service territory. I have said this before, but it bears repeating: This is a big job — and one they do exceptionally well. Powering Reliability: Strengthening Infrastructure for Our Community’s Future

Mountain View Electric Association Receives $771,000 Federal Grant to Mitigate Wildfire Risks
Mountain View Electric Association (MVEA) has received $771,000 from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to enhance wildfire protection and resilience in the communities it serves by making critical upgrades to its electric system.
